Sealed bids will be received by the City of Yazoo City, Mississippi, until 11:00 AM local time, August 20th, 2025, at the City Hall offices of Yazoo City located at 128 East Jefferson Street (or may be mailed to Post Office Box 689, Yazoo City, MS 39194, Attn: Mayor David Starling). All proposals will be opened and read aloud on August 20th, 2025, in the City of Yazoo City Board of Alderman and Mayor Meeting Room in City Hall.

Request for bids for Yazoo City MCWI Drainage 02 (COYC-MCWI-02) as follows:

For the clearing, grubbing and cleaning of various ditches and repairing curb inlets in Yazoo City, Mississippi.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds and other contract documents may be examined at the following:

Copies may be obtained at www.wcmplanroom.com, upon payment of $100.00 for each set, which will not be refunded.

The City of Yazoo City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities therein and to determine which is the best bid. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of total bid, made payable to The City of Yazoo City must accompany each proposal.

A performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract will be required.
